Age Concern Southland welcomes Emma Furlonge

We are delighted to welcome Emma Furlonge to the team at Age Concern Southland as our new Health Promotion Coordinator.

Emma joined us in the first week of May and brings five years of experience in health promotion to the role. She will be supporting our existing groups and helping establish new opportunities for older people across the Southland community.

Emma brings a warm, energetic approach and is passionate about creating spaces where people feel connected, encouraged, and valued. She is looking forward to building relationships throughout the community and helping develop creative opportunities for older people to stay active and engaged. “I love walking alongside older people and supporting them to live well and stay involved in their communities,” she says.

We are excited to have Emma on board and look forward to the enthusiasm, creativity, and care she will bring to the role. Please join us in giving her a warm welcome to the Age Concern Southland whānau.

Emma will be based at the Centre from Monday to Friday 8:30am – 3pm.
